Driver's Seat
There are many innovative features that make the driver's seat feel like it's been specially tailored for you. Below the driver, the seat is constructed with a cushion that's firm and long for additional support, while anti-submarine cutouts under the thighs help aid in optimum pedal operation. Behind you, a seat back sculpted with large wings, helping to assure a secure driving position during quick lateral acceleration. And wings that taper below the shoulders to avoid any interference during aggressive gear changing or cornering

Racing Steering Wheel
The smoother the arc, the better the driver. Simple enough in theory. But in practice, it takes lots of practice. When you reach to the wheel of the Z, you'll notice that it's not simply round and cushy.

Shifter Design
The Z six-speed is a one-of-a-kind shift lever (padded on the front and back, for a more intuitive throw) with an incredibly short and quick throw between very well-defined gates. All connected to a transmission set up for close-ratio gearing from first to fifth for high-performance driving, and a tall overdrive sixth gear for highway economy.

Programmable Shift Light
Not all computers are boring. In the tacho of the Nissan Z is a programmable shift indicator light. Choose your shift points and it will flash as you close on the specified rpm, and turn solid once you reach it, helping you get to highway speed quicker.

Gauges/Steering Wheel
When you climb into a Z, one of the first things you'll notice is the single-mindedness of the cockpit. Built for performance. Not distractions. Gauges whose height adjusts with the steering wheel, to assure excellent visibility at all times. A large tacho mounted front and centre because of its importance, coupled with an available programmable shift indicator light.

Gauge Cluster
Oil pressure? Check. Power? Check. On the dash, three gauges tell you almost everything you need to know, including a drive computer that tells you: Current kph, average kph, kpl, distance to empty, driving time, outside temperature and of course, it also has a stopwatch.

Behind Seat Storage
At some point, you will have to use your Nissan Z for pursuits other than empty exit roads and forgotten mountaintop passes. Which is why we made sure there is plenty of cargo space. Fold the passenger seat forward, and you've got a large storage bin, able to carry a laptop or briefcase. Through the cabin are numerous smaller storage compartments for maps and mobile phones. And the rear cargo area pampers your needs, offering up enough space for two golf bags as well as tie-down hooks to keep them secure through the chicane that leads to the clubhouse.

Climate Control Air Conditioning
Set it and forget it. Pick your desired climate, and the fan, temperature, and vent locations will automatically adjust to maintain it.

Power Seat Controls
Not only can the 4-way power driver's seat controls help you find the optimum seating position, but they are placed on the inside of the seats, so you can adjust the passenger's 2-way power adjustable seat from the driver's side.

BOSE Audio System
Watts are horsepower for the soul. In the Nissan Z it's 240 watts of pure BOSE audio, coupled with an in-dash 6-CD changer. All pumped through seven speakers, including a 10" subwoofer that were precisely positioned by BOSE to ensure the truest, fullest, richest sound.

Rear Strut Brace
Inside the rear cargo area, under the hatch, is an integrated strut brace, beautifully sculpted and finished in brushed aluminium. It's there to assure optimum rigidity of the vehicle during acceleration and cornering. |
